Note:
There is no contract for any of these plans and you are free to cancel any time. These plans are offered on a subscription basis and do need to be paid monthly in advance.
*Email not included with web hosting. This is not included because webmail included with most web hosting is notoriously unreliable. We recommend you utilize a service such as Google GSuite, Office 365, or Zoho to handle your email. The first benefit to doing this is reliability - using high-quality servers to handle your email means less spam hitting your inbox. The second benefit is if your site goes down temporarily for some reason, you should still be able to send and receive emails without interruption.
Does monthly time carry over?
No. Like a lawyer’s retainer, the monthly time is there for you every month to be taken care of by our staff and our resources, therefore it does not rollover. You can take comfort in the fact that what you will request within that 60/120 minutes of time (depending on your plan) will be addressed by our team with priority attention.
What if my site gets hacked/breaks?
The whole purpose of website care plans is preventative care, so we hope to prevent anything from happening. However, in the case something happens to your website, we will investigate the cause, communicate with your web host if needed, and get you back online as soon as possible. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked, but can promise we use security features that are designed to prevent it, as well monitoring and backing up your site regularly.
What payment method do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. After signup, cards are auto-charged each month on a recurring basis until you decide to cancel or upgrade your plan.
No long term contract?
None. We are all about a relationship with you and your website, so we would hate to see you go but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. We believe in earning your business month after month, and you can cancel your service with us at any time. Although we really hope that doesn’t happen.
What tasks are included with monthly support?
The most common requests are content update requests and small design improvements, like plugin additions or deletions. We just ask you to be aware that requests for new features to your website (like theme changes, design changes, or complex things like adding e-commerce) will likely result in a formal quote, as those commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.
You didn't build my site - can I still be on a plan?
Although these plans are for sites we build or re-design, we welcome clients looking for a long-term relationship with a dedicated web company.
First, we will perform a Website Evaluation to familiarize ourselves with the website, how it was built, and any potential issues that can arise. Second, we provide a report that lists problems to fix and suggestions for improvement needed. Based on this discovery process, we charge a fixed four-hour fee of $500. If you decide to subscribe after that, we can detail how we plan to fix any issues and begin monitoring your website.
What happens if a theme or plugin breaks my site?
Sometimes, an update’s results are unexpected, and things break. In those rare scenarios, we quickly repair the issue by restoring your website from a backup and contacting the plugin or theme author so they can work on patching the plugin.
How do I submit a support request?
If you are a current care plan client and need assistance with your site or wish to have content, images, etc. added, please use our new support ticket system to make a request. This new system will be more efficient and allow us to respond to your requests quickly. Just click the “Client Support” link in the main navigation or at the bottom of this page.
